Letters to the editor
January 9, 2006
sent to The Detroit Free Press,
The Indianapolis Star, The
Cincinnati
Enquirer, and the Chicago
Tribune:
One cannot help but notice the deafening
silence from newspapers around
the country,
including this one, who called for President
Clinton to
step down for lying to congress
about having consensual sex with a
willing
adult. According to an AP report of Sept. 15,
1998, some "did so
before the release of Ken
Starr's report on Sept. 11."
How much
secrecy, lies and corruption will be allowed
before that same
call goes out for this
administration? How much more before
these
publications recognize the criminal
aspects of this current
administration? Is
this the kind of hypocrisy we can expect from
our
"liberal" media?
